Landed in Barcelona, saw some Gaudi, walked the Rambla, stayed in a medieval square, surrounded by churchbells. Ate tapas, drank cava and sangria. Tried a fidueo (a noodle paella). Got a car, and drove out (which was scary), and got stuck on the superhighway for a bit. Soon as we got off, and out a ways from the big city, the countryside opened up in its magic. |
